Top Up e-Wallet menu gives you quick and easy access to make Top Up transactions to popular e-Wallet providers. This menu is available in HSBC Mobile Banking, HSBC Internet Banking, and HSBC Business Internet Banking.
Currently you can top up OVO, GoPay, LinkAja, ShopeePay, and Dana accounts through HSBC Mobile Banking, HSBC Internet Banking, and HSBC Business Internet Banking.
Is there a limit to how much I can top up?
The Top Up e-Wallet limit are combined with Online Realtime Transfer and ATM interbank transfers up to maximum IDR 50 mio daily. Please note, that each e-Wallet provider has their own policies regarding maximum balance. Make sure the Top Up amount is within the max limit of the destination e-Wallet account.
Is there a charge for Top Up e-wallet?
For HSBC Premier customers enjoy free of bank administration fee* unlimited top up e-Wallet and up to 30x/month for Advance customers (combined with Online Realtime Transfer). Advance customers will be charged with IDR 7,500 for subsequent transactions once the 30x limit has been reached.
For HSBC Retail Business Banking customers, Top Up e-Wallet is and get free of bank administration fee* up to 30x/month (combined with Online Realtime Transfers). You will be charged with IDR 7,500 for the subsequent transactions once the 30x limit has been reached.
*Customers can enjoy e-Wallet top up with free of bank administration fee in accordance with two points above but might be charged with an administration fee according to the policies from each of e-Wallet provider.
Do I need token to Top Up?
You will need your token to do one off transactions. Alternatively, you can use HSBC Fast Pay (no token transaction feature) by saving your e-Wallet account. Please refer to the following guide for saving your e-Wallet number (link). To learn more about HSBC Fast Pay (link).
HSBC Fast Pay makes transactions easier by removing the need to use your token* on HSBC Mobile Banking, HSBC Internet Banking, and HSBC Business Internet Banking. How do I use HSBC Fast Pay?
HSBC Fast Pay is only eligible for transactions that has been previously saved on HSBC Mobile Banking, HSBC Internet Banking, and HSBC Business Internet Banking. This feature will be automatically applied when you make your transactions through the saved transfer menu / saved payee list (for Bill Payment transactions). I have saved my destination account to use HSBC Fast Pay, but why do I still need to use a token?
Only transactions that are within the HSBC Fast Pay threshold is eligible for this feature. You will be requested to use your Token if the transaction amount is above HSBC Fast Pay threshold. To learn more on HSBC Fast Pay limits and eligible transactions (link).
What transactions can I make with HSBC Fast Pay with?
You can use HSBC Fast Pay for Online Realtime Transfers, Local Transfer (SKN), and Bill Payment (postpaid payment and prepaid voucher purchases). Telegraphic Transfers cannot use this feature. To learn more on HSBC Fast Pay limits and eligible transactions can be accessed in (link).
Is there a limit to how many times I can use HSBC Fast Pay?
There is no limit on how many times you can use HSBC Fast Pay. However, it will daily transfer limits of each transaction type is still applicable.
Is there additional charge to use HSBC Fast Pay?
There is no extra charges for using HSBC Fast Pay. Charges incurred are based on what is applicable for each transaction type. To learn more on HSBC Fast Pay limits and eligible transactions (link).
Step 1. Login to your HSBC Internet Banking using security device > Select Transfer > Online Realtime Transfer
Or Login to your HSBC Mobile Banking app using security device > Select Online Transfer
Step 2. Follow the instruction to complete your transaction based on your e-Wallet > Enter top up amount
GO Pay. Select Bank Permata > Enter 898 + Your GO PAY registered phone number.
OVO. Select Bank Nobu > Enter 9 + Your OVO registered phone number.
DANA. Select Bank Permata > Enter 8528 + Your registered DANA virtual account (refer to information on your DANA app).
LinkAja. Select LinkAja > Enter 911 + Your LinkAja registered phone number.
ShopeePay. Select Bank Mandiri > Enter 893 + Your ShopeePay registered phone number.
Step 3. Insert transaction signing code from token, select transfer and save to perform top up in the future via HSBC Fast Pay.
