Personal Identification Number (PIN) Info

Semua Transaksi Wajib Menggunakan PIN

Starting July 1st 2020, referring to Bank Indonesia Regulation* all credit card Transactions within Indonesia territory will require PIN

Forget or haven't activated credit card PIN?

Follow these simple steps:

1. Contact HSBC Contact Center at:

HSBC Contact Center

2. Press *(star sign)

3. Press 3

4. Insert your credit card number followed by # (hash sign).

5. Press # (hash sign).

* Referring to PBI No.11/11/PBI/2009 and Surat Edaran (SEBI) No.16/25/DKSP, all credit card transactions without PIN within Indonesia territory will be rejected.

  1. Call HSBC Call Centre
    • 1 500 700 for HSBC Premier Mastercard Customer.
    • 1 500 808 for Other HSBC Credit Card Customer.


  2. Select menu “to change or request a new credit card PIN”.
    Shortcut:
    • Press *(star key) for “to report a lost or stolen card, to change or request a new credit card PIN”.
    • Press 3 for “to change or request a new credit card PIN”.
    • Enter your credit card number followed by # (hash key).
    • Select "to get a new credit card PIN" by pressing # (hash key).
    • Our customer representative will help you to get your credit card PIN.


  3. You have successfully got your credit card PIN and it's already active.


  4. If you have any other HSBC Credit Card or supplementary card, repeat the step 2 for all of your cards.


  5. Keep use your HSBC Credit Card and make sure that you already had PIN for transactions in your favorite merchants


 
 

Already have HSBC Credit Card PIN ?

  1. Call HSBC Call Center
    • 1 500 700 for HSBC Premier Mastercard Customer.
    • 1 500 808 for Other HSBC Credit Card Customer.


  2. Select menu “to change or request a new credit card PIN”.
    Shortcut: Shortcut:
    • Press *(star key) for “to report a lost or stolen card, to change or request a new credit card PIN”.
    • Press 3 for “to change or request a new credit card PIN”.
    • Enter your credit card number followed by # (hash key).
    • Select "to get a new credit card PIN" by pressing # (hash key).
    • Our customer representative will help you to get your credit card PIN.


  3. You have successfully changed your credit card PIN and please use the new one from now on.


  4. If you want to change PIN for your other HSBC Credit Card, repeat the step 2 for all of your cards. If you have supplementary, the supplementary cardholder can change their PIN by themselves by following above steps.


  5. Keep use your HSBC Credit Card and make sure that you already had PIN for transactions in your favorite merchants.
